Renting again. We rented years ago when we were stationed in WA before. We saw a “special” at Public Storage this time and made the BIG mistake of not returning to Emerald Self Storage. So we are back and won’t ever fall for another corporate “special” again. The customer service is 110% better at Emerald and they don’t try to raise rates every month. So happy to be back with Emerald Self Storage.

I needed a small unit for a short amount of time. I saw the special for the size unit I needed but prior to deciding to go to Emerald Self Storage, I stopped by another storage facility to compare prices, just to make sure. The place I stopped at also had a special but by the time all the fees were added on, it didn't seem like I was getting any deals. I decided to proceed to Emerald Storage and I was greeted by a very friendly and helpful assistant manager. The sign-up was quick, easy and the unit was exactly what I needed. Better still, the rental and fee structure is easily understood and very reasonable. I appreciate their location in that it's not on a major thoroughfare, but still convenient to access, so I feel it will be safer to store my things here. Thankful I ran across their website!

Excellent atmosphere and welcoming staff. My first impressions are really great, and they set the bar very high for how I expect to be treated by a storage company. Thank you very much for everything! Update 3-17-24: I finally ended my service with Emerald after moving into my new place. They were very friendly and helpful all throughout my time with them. They made transitioning very easy and payments were simple. I highly recommend them.

The facility itself was really clean and secure. You need a code to come in and out which gives you piece of mind. They must check all of the buildings on a regular basis because twice I've left mine locked incorrectly and both times they've called me the next morning to let me know so I could come down and secure my door. They also offer heavy duty rolling carts which made everything so much easier. The woman in the front office was really helpful everytime I spoke with her. I did a lot of calling around to find a place the first time; next time I won't bother and just come straight back here where they were straightforward and efficient and actually answer their phones.

Although we only had our stuff here for a few short months , I would like to comment on how amazing the staff is here . I only ever met two ladies . Forgive me for not remembering their names . One of them worked every single time we came , and then the other one we saw for the first time today . They are soo kind ! They do whatever they can to meet your needs . They are fair , not just trying to make a buck off of you . Our military movers were there today packing our stuff and the new lady offered us all water . Sooo sweet . The rules here are enforced, and I have to say I think that is great ! Often times places let you bend the rules because they don’t care or they just charge you instead of fixing the problem ! It is also great that it doesn’t cost you hundreds up front just to rent a unit. I was very impressed with this place , and if I ever end up back here .. we will definitely be using them again . Pricey, but it's not their fault. Expect your rent to be raised often, that's the market and voters passing more money grabbing property tax hikes. They offer fair rates for secure, dry and upkeep of the storages. The staff is friendly and it's a very low key place in a nice community.
